On a commercial roof, the panel is only as good as the mill that made the coil. A weak or inconsistent coil shows up as color variation, uneven gauge, and finish that fails early across a wide, highly visible surface.
We build commercial roofs with only two manufacturers, Taylor Metals and Sheffield Metals, because those are the coil and panel systems we will put our name behind. Both supply premium standing seam material with a 70% Kynar 500 PVDF finish and the certification data a commercial project needs.
Until 2026 we worked only for other roofing companies and general contractors, so on your building you are hiring the contractor they hire and skipping the markup.
Which Manufacturers Do We Build With?
We build commercial roofs with two manufacturers, Taylor Metals and Sheffield Metals, and no others. Both are premium standing seam producers, and Sheffield is the aluminum specialist we turn to when a building's environment calls for aluminum instead of steel.
That split covers the range of commercial work. Taylor supplies the steel coil most inland buildings use, and Sheffield supplies the aluminum for coastal and corrosive settings where rust is the real threat. Whichever the building needs, we form the panels on site from that manufacturer's coil, cut to the roof's exact dimensions.
Why Only Two Manufacturers?
We work with only two manufacturers because keeping the list short is what lets us guarantee the same coil quality, finish, and support on every roof. A contractor who buys whatever coil is cheapest that month cannot make that promise.
That should tell you something. We stand behind the roofs we build, so we only build with material we trust to last, from mills whose gauge, temper, and PVDF finish are consistent load after load. It also means we know these systems cold, from their profiles to their submittal packages, instead of relearning a new brand on your building. Certified coil holds a steady gauge, temper, and finish across every run, so the roof reads as one clean plane rather than a patchwork.

These manufacturers supply the engineering and test data, such as wind-uplift ratings and finish performance, that architects specify and building departments require on a submittal. Using mills that produce that documentation keeps your design team's spec, the inspector's file, and the finished roof all pointing at the same standard.
